Both hailing from the same hip hop group from the early 2000's known as Gloomy Knights, long-time collaborators; Puppet (formally of The Creeps) and Damnage (Bullie Hill) have worked on countless music together. Whether engineering or producing each others solo songs/'projects, to collaborations, they have always had a chemistry that worked no matter what atmosphere. Loosely throwing around the idea for years of a joint album, "Warpaint" started its initial process in August 2012, and was completed by Halloween of that same year.

The album climbed its way into the top 5 albums on audiomack.com for the entire month of November of 2012.
